Question: My house is located to the south of my observing position so I want to exclude objects below about +30 degrees altitude and within ± 45 degrees of due south in azimuth.

Answer: On the Sky Position tab, set Minimum Altitude to 30 deg, Maximum Altitude to either 0 (no maximum) or 90. Set Leftmost Azimuth to 225 degrees and Rightmost to 135 degrees.
