I am getting error 1335, 1901 or Data Error when installing Deep-Sky Planner from the CD. How should I proceed?

The messages 'Data error (cyclic redundancy check)',  'Error 1335', or 'Error 1901' usually mean that  the CD is defective, or it may have been damaged in shipping.

There are 2 workarounds:

• Copy the contents of the CD to your hard drive and run the setup program from your hard drive.
• Try the CD in another CD drive if you have one.

If neither of these suggestions work for you, please contact Support for a replacement CD.
